So as I mentioned before the Young Man shoot... if you don't see our VFX, that means we failed!
Well let's just say the VFX may have got an ole fashion nixing. Why? Well, sure the FX were a bit ambitious for our budget. But more than anything, it felt important to simplify.
Straight off the back of a rather brutal desert shoot I'm off to NYC to shoot a music video for the inimitable Young Man (Frenchkiss Records). It'll be my first 'studio video' and I'm excited and a bit nervous if I'm totally honest. And it's my first time shooting in New York. Though we're shooting in studio so no slick skylines here.
Shoot My Truck made the cover of Shots.net -- the first time my work has been featured on the site. I've been a subscribing member for years and it's an honor to make the cut!
The launch video for Twisted Metal Shoot My Truck launched and pulled in 1.2M views on Youtube in about 3 days. Very happy to watch that happen. We make things in a bubble ... and just hope that people will respond and enjoy. And so it's such a great feeling when the work connects. A million thanks to everyone involved.
All I can say is...this spot is f**king crazy.
Picture is locked and the fine folks at Create Advertising are handling color and effects. Very, very excited.

Had some fun in the sun out in Nevada this week shooting a crazy spot for Twisted Metal on PS3. Yeah...it's coming back. And all I can hear is the echo of gunfire.
The video for ‘Heart on Fire’, by Brit indie band Scars on 45, gained lots of attention in the last few months, particularly after the song was featured in Grey’s Anatomy and included on the official soundtrack. Now the video charted in VH1′s Top 20 Music Video Countdown!
